Douglas Waters has over 25 years of experience regarding environmental issues related to fire, water and earthquake damages in high rise commercial, industrial and residential property. Mr. Waters has worked throughout the United States in both the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Additionally, Mr. Waters' work experience consists of on-location cleanings in residential, commercial or industrial settings to catastrophic emergency response, such as the Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Jeanne and Katrina as well as local catastrophe response such as the Southern California firestorms of 2007. As the Branch Manager of Los Angeles Operation, his responsibilities include direct project management and oversight, project development and analytical research.
Mr. Waters is a graduate of Texas Christian University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with a minor in marketing and accounting. In addition, he holds certifications as an AHERA Project Designer, Building Inspector/Management Planner and is a certified Site Surveillance Technician for the State of California, Division of Health and Safety, registration #95-1788. Mr. Waters has also successfully completed the Successful Subrogation: A Correspondence Course for Restoration Contractors program.
Mr. Waters has lectured to national and local organizations on the subject of Mold Remediation, Asbestos and Lead Abatement. Clients who have utilized his services have included School Officials, Attorneys, Insurance Companies, General Contractors and Building Owners.
Mr. Waters is an active member of International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO).
