Due to Sky Harbor Airport’s continuing growth, new landing and take-off patterns were established that directly affected nearby buildings. As a result of the rezoning, a neighboring housing development was condemned for demolition and purchased by the City of Phoenix.

American Technologies, Inc. was contracted by the City of Phoenix to perform asbestos abatement on each unit prior to the houses being demolished. This project required the removal of many different types of asbestos such as ceiling tiles, flooring, roof mastic, and sprayed-on wall acoustic. American Technologies, Inc. expertly cleaned out the asbestos according to EPA, OSHA and local regulations.

High pressure water was used to abate the sprayed-on wall acoustic. This helped keep us on the three week schedule. The City of Phoenix was so impressed with the quality and professionalism of our services that they have contracted American Technologies, Inc. on several other city projects.
